In a fresh twist, nephew of former Maharaja of Faridkot Harinder Singh Brar has decided to challenge a recent court order which granted inheritance of assets worth Rs 20,000 crore to the late ruler's two surviving daughters.

Their father was the maharajah of Faridkot. Court gives them his property, over Rs 1,000 crore of jewels and many cars including a Rolls Royce.

A court in Chandigarh has declared a 32-year-old will "forged" and illegal" and granted inheritance of properties and assets worth a whopping Rs 20,000 crore ($4.4 billion) to the two daughters of the erstwhile Maharaja of Faridkot, Harinder Singh Brar.
