Pakistani National With Links to Terror Group HuJI Arrested in Hyderabad

A Pakistani national, who allegedly has links with banned terror outfits HuJI and Indian Mujahideen (IM) was arrested from Chanchalguda area in Hyderabad, police said on Friday. The man had reportedly also indulged in trafficking people of Bangladesh and Myanmar.

An alleged Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami operative was today sentenced to life imprisonment after a district court in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, convicted him for his role in the November 2007 serial blasts that had rocked the court premises of Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad.

Karnataka terror plot: One more arrested for allegedly planning assassinations, says police

One more person has been arrested in Bangalore for alleged links to banned terror organisations and plotting to assassinate several politicians and journalists in Karnataka. So far, 17 people with alleged links to the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI) have been arrested.
