Alleging breakdown of law and order in Bihar, LJP chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today demanded imposition of President's Rule in the state and sought a CBI probe into the killing of opposition leaders there.

Nearly three months after its stupendous victory, the Grand Alliance in Bihar today suffered a setback losing Harlakhi Assembly bypoll to BJP ally Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) candidate by 18,650 votes.

BJP today urged the Election Commission to take notice of an alleged comment by RJD president Lalu Prasad in the run-up to Harlakhi bypoll that "only those voting for secular alliance will get pure, tap water".
