Heavy Rains In Erode

Heavy rains in Erode district of Tamil Nadu claimed a life of a student on Monday. The hut of Raja, a diploma student, had collapsed due to heavy rains and flash floods.

Two men were killed in flash floods near Sathyamangalam in Erode district of Tamil Nadu on Friday night following heavy rain in the forest areas here.

A flood alert has been sounded in eight villages near Gunderiapallam dam in Tamil Nadu in the district by PWD and revenue Departments as the dam has nearly touched its full level of 42 feet following heavy rains over the past two days.
