Just over ten years ago, the first resident moved into the Tamaraikulam Elders Village in Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu. The Village was set up by Helpage India, largely with funds donated by NDTV viewers to help improve the lives of those whose world had been turned upside down by the tsunami.
