Zomato on Tuesday issued a public apology to address the controversy over claiming Hindi as the national language by one of its executives. The company also initially fired the said executive, though Zomato co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal later reinstated the employee by calling the claim as an “ignorant mistake.”
