The Vishva Hindu Parishad on Wednesday said its youth wing Bajrang Dal will soon release helpline numbers for those getting threats from "Islamic fundamentalists" over their posts on social media.

As a self-confessed "secular fundamentalist", I believe this is the time and juncture for me to stand up and say that Shashi Tharoor is spot on: the Bharat which the Hindutva forces are pledged to realize would be a mirror image of Muslim Pakistan, thus making of secular India a 'Hindu Pakistan'.

Bangladesh police today detained three persons, including one from fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami and an activist from opposition BNP, in connection with the killing of a Hindu tailor who was brutally hacked to death by machete-wielding ISIS militants.
