Munawar Faruqui detained: Stand-up comedian and reality TV star Munawar Faruqui was detained by Mumbai police during a raid at a hookah parlour on Wednesday.

Two villas in Nashik in Maharashtra were raided in the early hours of Sunday and 22 people, including some connected to the entertainment industry, were held, while drugs and hookah were seized, police said.

The police conducted a raid at a hookah parlour at Ghatkopar here and arrested six persons for allegedly violating the coronavirus norms, an official said on Sunday.
