Hospitals Illegal Organ Transplant

The Union health ministry has asked all states and UTs to investigate any violations and take appropriate action, including suspension of registration, against hospitals performing illegal organ transplants, officials said on Sunday.

The Directorate General of Health Services ( DGHS) has written a letter to the director of the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) regarding a media report blaming Private Hospital in Delhi on an illegal kidney racket.
