Shortcut Romeo director Susi Ganeshan is so much impressed with Ameesha Patel's work in the romantic crime thriller that he is confident it will give a great boost to her career.

Ameesha Patel, who has not played a lead role on the big screen in a while, says she was just going through a bad phase and now her good time is back.

The actress, who has also played strong characters like in Humraaz, will soon be seen playing a strong persona in Shortcut Romeo with Neil Nitin Mukesh.
