The memogate scandal continues to cast its shadow in Pakistan. Pakistan ambassador to the US, Husain Haqqani, has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. In a post on micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Haqqani wrote, "I have requested PM Gilani to accept my resignation as Pakistan Ambassador to US.
