Chilling images of a woman confronted by a man at an ATM where he shot a bullet at a wall before escaping with her jewellery and ATM card has been released by the Hyderabad police, which has not located the attacker a day later.

A young woman in Hyderabad decided to stop at an ATM in the heart of the city this morning on her way to work. Just as she had finished using the machine, a man, his face covered, accosted her and asked her to hand over the cash and jewellery. When she didn't, he pulled out a gun and fired at the wall.

The Hyderabad police has busted a gang of thieves which stole lakhs from ATMs, the high-tech way.
