• Kiran Kumar Reddy's top officials transferred

  Amidst talks that he might step down from his post to protest bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today relieved two of his secretaries of their duties in the CMO as part of a reshuffle of nearly a dozen IAS officers in the state.

• Andhra Pradesh government transfers 17 IAS officers

  The ongoing crisis in the administration over the state bifurcation issue notwithstanding, the Andhra Pradesh government today transferred 17 IAS officers but three of them have not been given new postings.

• 13 IAS officers transferred in Andhra Pradesh

  The State Government has transferred 13 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), but has given new postings to only ten of them. Transport Commissioner Hiralal Samariya has been transferred and posted as Chairman and Managing Director of Power Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited.

  The Andhra Pradesh government transferred a number of Indian Police Services (IPS) officers and some Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers.
