Ias Officers Transferred In Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu government Tuesday transferred Madurai District Collector S Nagarajan, months after he had replaced the incumbent in the wake of alleged breach at a storage room in the temple city where records of the April 18 Lok Sabha elections were kept.

A senior IAS officer in Tamil Nadu was transferred twice in 48 hours last week.

The Tamil Nadu government has ordered a probe into reports of alleged illegal mineral mining in the Tuticorin district. Revenue Secretary Mr Gagandeep Singh Bedi will head the team and submit its report within a month.
