Venture firms Immutable and King River Capital along with blockchain firm, the Polygon Labs have set up a $100 million (roughly Rs. 83 crores) fund called the Inevitable Games Fund (IGF).

Union minister for Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar today agreed that the internet is becoming toxic and said "misinformation is being weaponised" but refused to name the source.

"For too long governments of the world and indeed, IGF and most forums have lagged behind these big private platforms, big tech platforms in terms of the do's and don'ts and the rule-making that are required," Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar said.
