The fight against the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic has received a shot in the arm with an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode or IIMK based incubatee start-up’s indigenous robotic intervention.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode or IIMK, has contributed close to Rs 1 Crore in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.

This initiative by IIMK is the first offering by any IIM interlinking Liberal Studies and Management as a two-year full time programme.

This Book Donation programme was organized by the Institute, as a part of IIMK's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The students admitted hold senior positions in leading companies like ICICI Securities, KPMG, Havells, etc.

The summit, called UNARUKA 2.0, was aimed at inspiring women in the region to take up entrepreneurship.

A total of 105 companies participated in summer placements at the IIM Kozhikode (IIMK) and made offers to 421 students.

IIM Kozhikode is the first IIM to collaborate with an Ivy League University in an Executive Education Program, said a statement from the Kerala-based management institute.

IIM Kozhikode (or IIMK) has decided to create 60 additional seats exclusively for women candidates in their prestigious postgraduate programme in management (PGP) from the next academic year.
