Out of 521 students, a total of 422 male and 99 female students were given degrees among various programmes which include BTech, MSc, MTech, and PhD.

A total of 288 students recommended by JoSAA from 24 Indian states including two OCI students joined IITGN BTech and BTech dual degree programmes.

The delegation led by IIM Jammu director apprised the Lt Governor of their ongoing courses, newly introduced dual degree (BTech and MBA) with IIT Jammu and MBA in Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management with AIIMS Jammu.

In the first phase, between February 19 and March 10, PhD, BTech and BDes final year, and dual degree students can return to the institute.

An IIT Delhi alumnus Mohit Mittal has pledged Rs 11 Crores to the institute’s Endowment Fund. He had received a BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2000 from IIT Delhi.

Students are expected to enroll in the programme from January 2022 during their third year of BTech and dual degree Programs. The initial intake is expected to be 25 students.

A total of 2,117 students will receive their degrees tomorrow. These include 734 Btech, 97 dual degree, 288 PhD, 608 MTech, 157 MBA and 151 MS students, the institute said.
