An Alwar court on Thursday permitted the Rajasthan Police to reinvestigate a case of cattle smuggling against the sons of Pehlu Khan, a 55-year-old dairy farmer who was killed by a group of cow vigilantes along the Jaipur-Delhi national highway on April 1, 2017.

The Uttar Pradesh Police today issued a terse warning that those involved in cow slaughter and illegal transport of milch animals will be booked under the stringent National Security Act and Gangsters Act.
