Illicit Liquor In Aligarh

Thirteen more people, including the owner of a chemical factory, were arrested in Aligarh for their alleged involvement in illicit liquor trade as police continued raids in connection with a hooch tragedy, officials said on Tuesday.

Fifteen people died on Friday and at least 16 more took ill after allegedly consuming spurious liquor sold by a licensed vendor in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, a senior official said.
