India New Zealand Sign Deal

India and New Zealand today signed a deal that opens the door for direct flights between the two countries that could boost tourism and trade sectors.

Pakistani players have refused to sign the central contracts which were extended by three months by the Board before the squad departed for New Zealand last week. The existing contracts had expired on December 31, 2014 and as per practice the Board is supposed to give out six month or 12-month new contracts.

Worcestershire have agreed a short-term contract with Pakistan spinner Saaed Ajmal for this year's Twenty20 season but are awaiting final confirmation of the deal, county officials said on Thursday.
