India Obese By 2025

As many as 268 million children aged five to 17 years may be overweight - including 91 million obese - by 2025, according to a global estimate that suggests no policy interventions have proven effective at changing current trends.

A study published on Friday by British medical journal The Lancet has revealed that in 2025 a fifth of the world population will be obese if the rate of overweight people continues to increase at the current rate.
