Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tanzania President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli on Friday reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed possibilities of further accelerating the ties.

Seeking to enhance its ties with resource-rich Tanzania, India today extended its full support to it to meet its development needs and signed five agreements, including one for providing a Line of Credit of $92 million in the water resources sector.

Extending his greetings to the government and people of Tanzania on their Union Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday said he would like to see stronger ties and deeper cooperation with Tanzania.
