The border police in Assam today deported 21 Bangladesh nationals who had been detained for illegally entering India. They were arrested for violating the Passport Act.

The Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Kolkata under the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has decided not to issue fresh India-Bangladesh Passports (IBP) after November 30, an official in Agartala said today.
