Eight months after her children returned to India after a lengthy legal battle in Norway, Sagarika Bhattacharya will be able to take them home. The 30-year-old had been granted custody of her son Abhigyan and her daughter Aishwarya by the Calcutta High Court.

There were dramatic scenes of Raisina Hill today as hundreds of women tried to enter Rashtrapati Bhavan to express their outrage over Sunday night's gang-rape of a young woman on a bus. Shouting "we want justice", the protestors tried to force their way in before they were stopped by the police.
