Prime Minister Narendra Modi today discussed the intensification of Indo-Russia ties with President Vladimir Putin, as the two sides agreed to strengthen the bilateral special and privileged partnership.

Backing India's bid to become a member of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), Russia today said it was ready to assist in arriving at a "positive decision" whereby the south Asian country can join the elite 45-country nuclear club.
