A University of California, Berkeley student who came to the US as an Iraqi refugee says he was unfairly removed from a flight at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this month because a fellow passenger was alarmed by an innocent conversation he was having in Arabic.

"May God look after all our brothers & sisters in Chennai. Nature's fury is strong may we all have the strength to fight it. Insha Allah," Shah Rukh Khan wrote on Twitter. Celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan and Raveena Tandon also prayed for those affected by the floods in Chennai
