Threads has rolled out a new TweetDeck-style view in addition to other features for desktop users. The new layout brings the ability to pin feeds in on the home screen, creating a custom multi-column desktop view. A new auto-update option has also been introduced that brings up new posts without having to refresh.

Instagram is planning to introduce a way for users to get early access to features, according to a recent leak. With this feature reportedly located in the Settings and activity tab, users may be able to experiment with the in-development features, such as a rumoured AI-generated chat themes feature and cross-posting to Threads.

Instagram Threads cross posting could soon be introduced by the company. According to a report, the ability to cross post content to Threads while uploading images on Instagram is being tested with some users. The new opt-in feature is reportedly in testing via a new toggle on the photo and video sharing service.
