Samsung Electronics said on Thursday it has clinched a deal with German carmaker Audi AG to supply automotive processors designed for in-vehicle information and entertainment systems.

Panasonic, Qualcomm and Google are working together to create an Android-based in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system, which will be based on the latest version of Android, 7.0 Nougat, and use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820Am processor.
