iPhone production in India has gone up from less than 1 per cent in 2017 to 10 per cent in 2023 and plans are to scale it up to 25 per cent of global shipments by 2025, according to global investment firm Jefferies.

Apple has been granted a patent in the US that could allow the company to create an accessory that would work as a VR headset, using an iPhone. The patent also suggests that Apple's engineers continued to work on a device that resembles the company's AirPower wireless charger that was unveiled in 2017 and cancelled in 2019.
