Iran Envoy Iraj Elahi

Amid the tense situation in West Asia, Iranian Ambassador to India Iraj Elahi has said the tension between his country and Israel is "not new". He assured Indians and other tourists that "Iran is safe" to travel and urged them to explore Persia.

Praising India for its morality and humanity on the global stage, Iran's Ambassador to India, Iraj Elahi has said that India possesses the potential to play a pivotal role in putting an end to the brutalities in the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.

Calling India a rising power and a powerful economy, Iranian Envoy to India Iraj Elahi said that India is strong enough to resist the pressure of the West as it resisted the pressure of buying oil from Russia.

As the Russia-Ukraine war entered its 9th month, many countries including China, Turkey, and Iran have offered help to Moscow. While Russia is using different weapons against Ukraine, Iran is accused of supplying drones to the country.

Iranian Envoy Dr Iraj Elahi on Friday said despite US sanctions Tehran is ready to supply oil to India as both countries have close ties.
