Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday alleged that the workers of ruling YSR Congress Party blocked his way, attacked him with slippers at the Visakhapatnam airport, while he was headed for "Praja Chaitanya Yatra" in Vizag and Vizianagaram districts.

Andhra legislators who resigned on Monday to protest the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's inclusion by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a disproportionate assets case against his son Jagan Mohan Reddy, plan to launch a "bus yatra" to take the issue before the people.

When the CBI was raiding his homes and offices in Hyderabad and elsewhere in the country on Thursday, Jaganmohan Reddy was away in Nandigama in Krishna district on his odarpu yatra, perhaps trying to convey to people that he is not worried and believes all is well.

Jagan Mohan Reddy is flexing his political muscle in Andhra Pradesh again. He's resumed his Odarpu Yatra or Consolation Tour which engages him with families who say their relatives died of shock after Jagan's father, YSR Reddy, was killed in a helicopter crash in September 2009. YRS was Chief Minister when he died.
