Haryana Congress lawmaker Jai Tirath Dahiya resigned on Thursday, in a setback to the party's state unit already facing infighting.

Ruling Congress' sitting MLA from Rai Assembly segment in Sonepat district in Haryana, Jai Tirath Dahiya, won by a thin margin of three votes defeating his nearest rival of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).
