Almost a year after Sandhya Singh, sister of Bollywood music composers Jatin and Lalit Pandit, was found dead near a marsh in Navi Mumbai, police on Monday arrested her son in connection with her murder.

Reports that Sandhya Singh, sister of music composers Jatin and Lalit Pandit, was a desperately lonely woman and sought strangers' company for solace, have not gone down well with the family.

Composer Lalit says he never blamed his nephew for his sister Sandhya Singh's murder and adds that the family wants "a decent closure of her case" and also wants to know "who killed her".

The discovery has puzzled both the police and forensics experts, who say that it usually takes a longer time for an entire body to reduce to its skeletal form.

Police have recovered remains suspected to be of Sandhya Singh, the missing sister of music composers Jatin and Lalit Pandit and yesteryear actresses Sulakshna and Vijeta.
