Jem Let Haqqani Network Terror Outfits

Pakistan-based terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are UN Security Council proscribed terror entities that need to be called out and condemned in the strongest possible terms, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has said.

China today said that Pakistan-based terrorist outfits like JeM, LeT and the Haqqani network have been included in the BRICS joint declaration due to concerns about their violent activities in the region.

In a clear reference to Pakistan providing safe havens to terror groups, India has told the UN that the international community needs to urgently address the backing outfits like the Haqqani Network, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad draw from their "shadowy supporters" outside Afghanistan.
