Jharkhand Kissing Competition

The BJP today raised in the Jharkhand Assembly the issue of some Jharkhand Mukti Morcha legislators organising a "kissing competition" at a village fair, claiming that hosting such an event was an "insult" to women.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren issued a show-cause notice to party MLA Simon Marandi on Tuesday in connection with a "kissing competition" organised at a village fair, asking him to give a written reply within a week.
