Bhutan King Jigme Wangchuk is set to commence his 3-day trip to India from today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was called by his Bhutanese counterpart Lotay Tshering and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck to congratulate him on winning the Lok Sabha elections.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today called on Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who, along with Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk and Prince Jigme Namgyal Wangchuk, is on a four-day goodwill visit to India.

Rising cases of Hepatitis B infection in Bhutan has become a major health concern. Last year alone, 744 Hepatitis B cases were reported, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, a doctor at the National Referral Hospital in Thimphu, said.
