Journalist Injured In Kolkata

Kolkata's Police Commissioner asked for 10 days to investigate the attack on journalists during a Left protest in the city on Monday after journalists held a protest march on Tuesday. At least 15 media persons were injured when police caned them during the protest.

Officially, the Kolkata Police has said only three journalists were injured in clashes with the police yesterday during the Left protests in Kolkata. But the number is many times more.
