A fan-led anti-piracy campaign has been launched on Twitter after what is believed to be the opening scene of Rajinikanth's Kabali appeared on social media

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Kabali' has tied up with telecom major Bharti Airtel to launch exclusive products and services.

"Rajinikanth sir is holidaying in the US and he won't be present in the country around the time of the launch. Hence, the makers decided to have a soft launch instead," said a source

Rajinikanth arrived for the film's puja ceremony in a light blue jeans and navy shirt. The entire cast and crew of the film, including producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and director Pa Ranjith were also present at the launch. While the first schedule of Kabali will be shot in Chennai, the team will move to Malaysia for the next leg of shooting.
