The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought the reply of sacked CWG Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi to a plea for stopping him from going to London for the 2012 Olympics and asked him not to advance his slated July 26 departure for it.

The High Court today dismissed a plea against Swiss Timing - a Switzerland-based company in an ongoing corruption case linked with the Commonwealth Games, held in the capital in 2010. The plea in the High Court sought a stay on lower court proceedings against Swiss Timing.

He was arrested in April last year for alleged corruption - as chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Commonwealth Games, Mr Kalmadi allegedly sanctioned an inflated contract for timing equipment and scoreboards.
