Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, or IIT Mandi, has developed a herbal infusion technology as a sustainable means of income for local farmers. Till now, the IIT Mandi team has formulated nine different herbal infusions.

Maitri Masks (Friendship Masks) are good quality reusable and washable cotton masks made by women in Kamand valley during COVID-19 pandemic.

Started as an initiative of IIT Mandi Women's Center, the incubator, called 'Enabling Women of Kamand' (EWOK), helps rural women set up their services or small enterprises.
