Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik on Monday demanded a unanimous resolution in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for a legal action against actress Kangana Ranaut, who he said has "maligned" the image of Maharashtra and Mumbai through her tweets.

Hrithik Roshan, 42, has spoken out about a controversy about his sending actress Kangana Ranaut a legal notice after an alleged failed relationship. Sources said Hrithik Roshan's legal notice alleges that Kangana Ranaut is trying to create an image in the film industry, print and social media of her and Hrithik having had a relationship. Hrithik's side alleges that there was no such relationship and that she has been trying to propagate false ideas to gain cheap publicity

"The representatives of your company out of bitterness then malafidely, mischievously and intentionally started spreading various false and absolutely misleading stories against my client to the media therein trying to cause serious damages to my client's name, image and reputation," reads the notice

"Image means a lot. It is everything in the business that we are in. The kind of roles which you get, people identify with your roles, and it then leads to the kind of brands you get," Kangana said
