Kankinara Violence

The West Bengal Police on Monday said the violence that broke out at Kankinara in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district was "well planned" to disrupt peace, and held injured BJP MP Arjun Singh responsible for carrying out attacks on the police.

Two people were killed and several people were severely injured when bombs were thrown last night at a neighbourhood in Bengal's Kankinara in North 24 Parganas district that saw clashes during the national elections last month.
