The winter session of the Karnataka Legislature which will begin in this border city today, is expected to be stormy with the Opposition likely to corner the government on various issues, including the murder of RSS and BJP workers and a minister allegedly watching sleazy pictures at a public function.

Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda of the BJP will meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh today to demand a CBI inquiry into the death of 36-year-old IAS officer DK Ravikumar, after Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said there was no need for an investigation by the central agency.

He may not have expected to finish fourth in the Karnataka polls but today BS Yeddyurappa put up a brave face. "We have got 10% of the vote. It not an easy thing. KJP will be a constructive opposition party in and outside the Assembly, " he said ruling out his return to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
