The victim girl of the controversial Udupi college washroom video case appeared before the Udupi district court on Thursday to record her statement, police sources said.

A magistrate court in Udupi on Friday granted conditional bail to three female students accused of taking a video of another student in a college washroom.

National Commission for Women (NCW) member Khushbu Sundar said a through probe is necessary on the alleged video shooting of a girl in the washroom of a paramedical college in Udupi, before jumping to conclusions or giving it a communal angle.

The college administration has also been named in the FIR, which has been filed under sections 509, 204, 175, 34 and 66 (e) of the IT Act.
