Karnataka Road Mishap

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on Monday issued Rs 10 lakh accident relief amount to the dependents of a passenger who died in a mishap while travelling in a public bus.

As many as 14 people, including eight women and two children, died on Sunday in two separate road mishaps in northern and southern Karnataka, police said.

Four people of a family were killed and five injured when a car carrying a group of pilgrims from Kerala and a lorry collided near Manipal, police said on Tuesday.

Seven people were killed and another critically wounded when their car rammed into a stationary Earth excavator in the district on Monday.
