Karunanidhi On Tamil New Year

The 67-year-old, who launched a website and a mobile app after getting himself a new day job, on Wednesday reached out to the DMK patriarch, M Karunanidhi, 93, for his blessings.

Continuing the war of words with AIADMK supremo and chief minister Jayalalithaa over the Tamil New Year issue, DMK president M Karunanidhi today said Ms Jayalalithaa had "unilaterally" reversed his government's move to celebrate it in January out of "political vendetta."
