Pakistan has rejected India's assertion that Islamabad had refused to accept a letter informing it of the decision to hang Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist who was captured alive during the 26/11 attacks. The Pakistan government has said that it had "received that note and acknowledged its receipt".

Supreme Court likely to take up Kasab's letter on Friday

The Supreme Court could take up, on Friday, Ajmal Kasab's letter against his death sentence. Kasab, the only terrorist caught alive during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, had written a letter to the Supreme Court in March, challenging the death penalty handed out to him by the Bombay High Court.
