The crisis in Rajasthan unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) continues. While resignations of Vasundhara Raje loyalists are pouring in - over 50 MLAs have now resigned in support of Ms Raje - the BJP high command is trying to downplay the rift that erupted over a 28-day-long Lok Jagran Yatra planned by RSS-backed leader Gulab Chand Kataria.

The rift within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan has intensified. A day after Vasundhara Raje threatened to quit the party over a proposed yatra by Gulab Chand Kataria, a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh-backed (RSS) leader, over 40 of her loyalists and BJP MLAs submitted their resignations today.

In a dramatic development which could further aggravate the crisis in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, more leaders from the party have threatened to resign along with former chief minister Vasundhara Raje over the rift with Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS)-backed member Gulab Chand Kataria's proposed yatra.
