The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi issued 112 visas to Indian Hindu pilgrims to visit Shree Katas Raj Temples, also known as Qila Katas, in Chakwal district of Punjab, according to an official statement.

Around 89 Hindu pilgrims from India arrived on Tuesday to celebrate Maha Shivaratri at Katas Raj Temple in Pakistan's Punjab Province.

The Pakistan high commission on Monday said it has issued 96 visas to a group of pilgrims from India to facilitate their travel to the Shree Katas Raj temples in the Punjab province's Chakwal district.

The Pakistan High Commission today said it has issued visas to 139 Indian pilgrims to visit Katas Raj Dham, a lord Shiva temple, in the country's Punjab province.

Pakistan plans to renovate and improve facilities at a historical Hindu temple complex near Islamabad besides allowing more devotees to visit it as over 120 Indian pilgrims on a trip to the country prayed for peace between the two countries at the ancient religious site.

Pakistani authorities have completed the rehabilitation and repair of 10 mandirs in cities across the country, including the famed Katas Raj temple in Chakwal, at a cost of millions of rupees.
