After Diluting Liquor Ban, Kerala Raises Age Bar For Drinking To 23 Years

The legal age for drinking will now be 23 years instead of 21 years, the Kerala government has said. The Left-led government of Pinari Vijayan has passed an Ordinance, raising the age bar for drinking to curb the problem of alcoholism in the state, which has been sent to the Governor P Sathasivam for clearance.
